天下第一奇書-聖經 「你們查考聖經（或作：應當查考聖經），因你們以為內中有永生；給我作見證的就是這經。聖經都是神所默示的（或作：凡神所默示的聖經），於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的，叫屬神的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事。」—聖經 聖經是一本最偉大的著作，是創造宇宙萬有的主宰給人類的一封信，內容是表明祂自己和人類的關係，說出祂對人類的慈愛和拯救，使世界上每一個人都與祂和好，脫離罪惡和魔鬼的關係，恢復人類因犯罪而失去天上榮耀尊貴的福份，成為祂的兒女，避免了將來永遠死亡的刑罰。 聖經又是宇宙的主宰自己向人類的啟示。祂特別揀選了四十多人，給他們經歷了一千多年才記錄完成。它影響了每個世代的人，聖經真是‘世界之最’的一本天下奇書，請參考下面的資料，就是一個明證： 最古的記錄— 聖經首五卷書完成於三千六百多年前，末一卷啟示錄則完成於一千九百多年前，距今時日最古遠。 最適合時代— 聖經雖完成於古代，但內容適合每個時代並每個人的需要；雖古老卻永久常新；年日雖久遠，但老少適宜。今日雖是科學猛進信息發達的時代，但在電腦網絡中，隨便可以找到無數論到聖經的文章，和很多各國聖經的譯本。聖經中有些話，看來像當天的新聞那樣新鮮。 最多人記錄— 聖經有四十多位元記錄者，其中有上至尊貴的君王和首相，下至亡國的俘虜和監獄中被囚的人，又有專業者如醫生、律師、詩人、學者、士官、以及普通平民百姓如稅吏、漁夫、農人、牧人、工人等，這些人地位不同，環境也各異，其中分別完成於皇宮、監獄、荒島、曠野及普通民居。 最長久記錄— 聖經是從頭一卷創世記至最後一卷的啟示錄，合共六十六卷而成的文庫，經一千六百多年的長時間才完成記錄。 最多的譯本— 聖經原文以希伯來文和希臘文寫成，據統計全部或部分譯本的聖經，1984年共有1634種語言的譯本已經完成，另有一千二百多種語言在繙譯中。世界有好幾個繙譯聖經的機構，十年前統計，單是‘威克厘夫聖經繙譯會’的工作人員，來自三十四個國家，共有二千零五十七人，工作分佈於四十六個國家中進行着。繙譯一種言語的新約聖經約需時十五年。現今電腦科技發達，比從前方便多了，但譯經的人，仍需住在沒有文字的土人部落中，先學會說話，然後造了文字，才繙譯聖經。 最準的預言— 聖經中有三分一是預言。其中大多數按字面應驗了，衹有少數的尚待應驗。（如主再來時將信徒卑賤的身體改變形狀，與基督榮耀的身體相似等預言尚未應驗。）主前（B.C.）有不同時代的先知預言主基督的身份，如降生在世生活，為世人的罪受苦受死、埋葬、復活、升天等預言，全部都應驗了。 1.關於以色列國的預言，因他們是神特別揀選的民族，目的是使世人因他們而蒙福，可是他們對神頑梗悖逆。所以神預言他們： A.被分散在世界列邦中。（利26：33；申28：64） B.在萬國中受大逼迫。（申28：63/67） C.以色列國土荒涼。（耶25：11） D.以色列民被保存不被同化。（利26：44/45；民23：9） E.神眷顧他們，使他們復國。（耶32：37；申30：3；結11：17；結20：34；36：24；37：21） 2.自從主前（B.C.）五百年前，猶太人被擄至巴比倫，七十年後，一部份人回國，但在主後七十年被羅馬人攻陷耶路撒冷，殺死二百萬人，其餘的人，餓死或被賣為奴，或被逐離國境，在天下萬國拋來拋去，在各國中受盡苦害，單是第二次世界大戰時，死在德國希特勒手下的人就有六百萬。 信實的神照祂的預言眷顧祂的選民。以色列國亡了二千五百多年，照預言的應許，使他們在一九四八年五月十四日下午零一分復國了。當時，立刻遭周圍的各國攻擊，多年來雖經多次戰爭，但每次戰爭以色列國都大獲全勝。今日成為中東強國。可是，因他們尚未真心歸向眷顧他們的神，所以直到如今他們仍在戰爭的狀態下過活。 最深遠的影響— 聖經對世界各方面都有很大的影響，現略述一、二： 1.對音樂方面: 許多有靈感而莊嚴偉大的樂章，如巴哈和海頓的交響樂，韓德爾莊嚴神聖的‘彌賽亞’神曲，和每間禮拜堂所唱的聖詩，都是取材於聖經的思想和題材而寫成的。（注一） 2.對藝術方面: 如米開蘭奇羅的‘摩西雕刻像’和其繪的‘聖潔家庭’，達文西的‘最後晚餐’，還有無數的藝術家，都是靠聖經提供，給以他們靈感，完成無價珍貴的作品。 3.對文學方面: 世界文壇中很多著名的文豪，如托爾斯泰、莎士比亞、歌德和雨果等，都是受聖經影響，而寫成偉大的著作。德國因聖經而統一了全國不同的方言；我國也因官話聖經的幫助，而推廣了今日我們所用的白話文。 4.對生活作息方面: 世界的西曆紀元，和每年的許多假期，都是以聖經中所載的主角—耶穌基督為中心，以祂的降世那一年，被世界萬國公認為紀元；因記念祂降生的日子，稱為‘耶誕節’，許多人向親友互贈賀卡和互送禮物；每星期七日的第一日，是記念祂受死而復活的日子，被稱為‘禮拜日’，世界許多國家的各行各業都放假休息。可惜，許多人在聖經影響下生活作息而慒然不知！ 5.對學術方面: 聖經中‘各從其類’四個字便推翻了達爾文的‘進化論’學說。筆者一位好朋友裴君，他是一位中國留學生，在加拿大U.B.C.研究‘進化論’的博士生，就因聖經而成為基督徒後放棄了學業。筆者曾勸他繼續研究下去，將來可以幫助其它受‘進化論’迷惑的人，他說：‘虛假的東西怎能研究得下去呢？’故改研究其它學科。 6.對政治方面: 很多西方國家，以推行自由、民主、人權為立國的根基，所以有林肯解放黑奴的壯舉。這都是因聖經的啟示而影響所致。因聖經啟示，人類是創造宇宙的主宰所創造的，在祂面前人人平等，誰都有至高者所賦予的權利和尊嚴。試看那些抵擋聖經的國家民族，他們的人民都在集權、窮困、迷信、落後和無秩序，並道德低落的社會環境中生活，這是鐵一般擺在人人面前的事實。過去入籍成為加拿大公民時，都蒙法庭送一本新約聖經。我們想想看，為何不送一本加國憲法呢？大概是公民遵守聖經比憲法更重要罷!(注二)很多國家的國旗和國徽上，或明或暗繪有‘十’字的標誌，因‘十’字在聖經中有極大的意義。 7.對教育方面: 在蠻荒部落的土著，很多有言語而無文字，都是宣教士因繙譯聖經而為他們造字，有了聖經的教育，才漸漸開化，得以過着文明的生活；我國雖是有輝煌文化的古國，可惜教育並不普及，衹有那些有權勢的富貴人家的子弟，才有讀私塾的機會，直至一八零七年開始，外國的傳道人把聖經譯成中文，為了傳揚聖經的真道，他們興辦教會學校使平民普遍受教育，以後逐漸擴展，才有大、中、小學等編制學校，教會學校是我國新學制的先鋒。 8.對社會方面: 單說我們的祖國，因聖經的傳到，社會才有大大的改良，如興辦慈善事業，改良各種民間蓄婢、纏足、納妾、早婚、留辮、迷信、流長指甲、殺女嬰等惡習；又開設醫院、養老院、孤兒院、濟良所（收容妓女、棄婦等）、盲啞學校、難民收容所、戒毒所、痲瘋病院、紅十字會等慈善機構。這都是我國近百多年來，因聖經影響而興起的社會慈善事業，現在我們的國家已邁向開明、進步、富庶了。聖經對過去掃除了那些敗壞的惡習，是有很大幫助的。 最容易明白— 不論未受教育的文盲村婦和荒山土人，或孩童稚子，都能明白聖經的真意。奇妙的聖經，有學問的人閱讀，不覺得它的記載顯淺，沒有學問的人閱讀，亦不覺得它的內容深奧，真是老少合宜，人人適用，聖經真是一本‘時不分古今，地不分南北，放之四海而皆準。’的奇妙天書。 最簡單主題— 聖經中衹有一個中心的主題，就是宣告創造宇宙萬有的主宰-真神，對全世界的人的大愛，‘神愛世人，甚至將祂的獨生子（耶穌基督）賜給他們，叫一切信祂的，不至滅亡，反得永生。’ 最蒙福信息— 聖經向人類的宣告，是最簡單易明、易接受、易相信的福音信息：‘你若口裏認耶穌為主，心裏信神叫祂從死裏復活，就必得救。’ 最嚴重警告— 聖經警告人類：‘罪的工價乃是死。’罪人若不悔改歸向真神，將來和魔鬼一同被扔在硫磺的火湖裏，晝夜受痛苦，直到永永遠遠！宇宙的主宰藉聖經將人類前途的生、死、禍、福宣告出來，讓人取捨、並不勉強。 最多人攻擊— 宇宙的主宰（相信聖經的人稱為天父），祂藉聖經，將人的本性和罪惡暴露無遺，故犯罪悖逆的人憎惡聖經，攻擊聖經，正如違法的人憎惡律法、員警和監獄一樣，甚至現在看這篇文字的人，或者也有很多人對聖經反感呢？聖經的啟示說：‘他們無故的恨我’，又說：‘但這些人好像沒有靈性，生來就是畜類，以備捉拿宰殺的。他們譭謗所不曉得的事，正在敗壞人的時候，自己必遭敗壞。’（約15：25；彼後2：12）反對聖經的人，並沒有詳細研究過聖經便盲目反對。 最多人謬解— 聖經也預言說：‘因為時候要到，人必厭煩純正的道理，耳朵發癢，就隨從自己的情欲，增添好些師傅。並且掩耳不聽真道，偏向荒渺的言語。’（提後4：3-4）自從人跟隨魔鬼犯罪之後，便有了牠悖逆真神的性格，除了那些真正信靠順服主耶穌基督，悔改重生得救，脫離魔鬼網羅的真正基督徒外，所有世界上的人，或明或暗，都是跟隨魔鬼去抵擋神和祂的真道-聖經。所以，在基督真道的範圍內，也有許多異端邪教出現，他們是撒但的差役，散佈魔鬼的邪道，打起基督教的招牌而販賣毒害人靈魂的毒藥。這些人在聖經中斷章取義，憑私意謬解真理的聖經。 在世界上明目張膽散佈屬靈的毒素，謀殺人寶貴靈魂的異端邪道有:羅馬天主教﹑守望臺﹑摩門教﹑安息日會﹑基督教科學會﹑文鮮明的統一教﹑假靈恩方言派﹑新神學派等;在中國大陸流行的有:東方閃電﹑常受主的呼喊派﹑被立王(主教派)﹑靈靈教﹑三班僕人﹑新約使徒教會﹑門徒會﹑重生派(包括:哭重生﹑生命會﹑真理會﹑全範圍教會)﹑擊鼓跳舞派等。可憐這些落在魔鬼的矇騙和轄制裏的人，都是他們沒有按正意分解真理的道之過。凡追求信主的人都要提防這些異端為要，而我們真正屬主基督的聖徒都要和他們分別，在真道上站立得穩，以生命去見證主基督的真道，也為這些陷入魔鬼迷惑的人禱告，求主救他們脫離牠的網羅。 最多的毀壞— 歷數千年來，聖經經過無數次的毀壞和列為禁書，繙譯聖經的人和遵行聖經者，有些受嚴刑，被火燒死，在鬥獸場中，被野獸撕食，忍受戲弄、鞭打、捆鎖、監禁、被石頭打死、被鋸鋸死、被刀殺死、受盡各種嚴刑。甚至現今有些國家的政權，明文不準聖經進口，不準人民公開宣傳聖經所記的真道，不準十八歲以下的青少年人，到禮拜堂去聽道和學習聖經；單是在十年的文革中，紅衛兵查禁和毀壞基督徒所有的聖經，和講論聖經的書報文字，並宣講聖經的禮拜堂。直到如今，仍有許多人因聖經而受逼害！ 但奇妙的聖經，今日仍然是： 最多人喜愛— 一本最好的書，普通人讀兩三次便無意再讀，但真正的基督徒，一生天天誦讀聖經，終老不相離，甚至有人將整本新約聖經二十二萬八千多字，全部能背誦出來。 最多人購買— 聖經整本或單行本，全世界每年銷售上億本。 最多人傳揚— 不論山林、海島、蠻荒野嶺或文明都市，自由或極權的國家中，都有數不盡的傳道人或基督徒，在世界各處宣揚這本聖經中所記載的主人翁-耶穌基督。 最多人見證— 古今中外有無數的人，為了見證聖經中的真道，不惜流自己的鮮血，犧牲自己的生命，或受極其殘酷的苦刑，古時相信遵守聖經的人有很多人殉道；如果打開今日的報章，有時也會看見有人因此而受苦和監禁的新聞。 最多人閱讀— 全世界有數不清的基督徒，每日早晚讀聖經，有的學校把聖經列為必修的科目。 最多人講論— 全世界每一間禮拜堂，每禮拜日都以聖經為指標，向人宣講真道；每個真正的基督徒在平日的生活中，也常找機會向人談論聖經，想很多讀者中，也有此經歷罷！ 最多人研究— 除了在禮拜堂中講論，在神學院研究外，單是北美很多大學和中學，都有查經班或基督徒團契，他們每禮拜中有一次聚會，彼此研究和討論聖經。 啊！一本這麼奇妙的聖經，它和我們有甚麼關係呢？答案，聖經是我們每個人的‘人生南針’。我們豈可輕易忽略它呢？有一句世界名言說：‘聖經使人離開罪惡，罪惡使人離開聖經。’ （注一）: ‘彌賽亞’神曲，全部曲詞是以聖經的話串寫而成的偉大聖樂，若在音樂會演唱，唱到‘哈利路亞’大合唱時，聽眾要全體肅立，直至完場。 （注二）: 美加兩國政府，通過違背聖經的律法，所以道德低落，國運漸漸走下坡，這是人人眼見的事實。 F你若想更多知道上帝的救恩，誠邀你點擊我們的網址:福音文摘 |
The First Book of Wonder —The
Bible “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think
ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. All scripture is
given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be
perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”—HOLY
BIBLE The
Bible is the greatest piece of writing in the world. It is a letter to men
from the Lord—Creator of the universe. Its
content is to express the relationship between God, Himself, and men. It
tells of His love and salvation to mankind; that everyone in the world can
break the relationship with sin and Satan and be reconciled to Him; that
mankind can be restored to the heavenly blessing of honour
and glory that they lost because of sin and become the children of God, thus
escaping the future punishment of eternal death. The Bible is also the revelation
to mankind from the Lord of the universe. Over forty people were selected as recorders
and the record was finished in approximately a thousand years. It affects
people of every generation. The Bible is truly “The world’s book of wonder.” The references listed below are proofs
of evidence: The Oldest Record— The first five books of the Bible
were finished more than 3,600 years ago and the last book of the Bible—The
Revelation, was finished more than 1,900 years ago. It is the oldest book in
the world. The Fittest for the Age— Although the Bible was written in
ancient times, its contents fit the need of people in every age. It is old
and yet new. In an age of rapid science and technology advancements, we can
easily find many articles about the Bible and the various translated texts of
different countries from an Internet search. Some of the recordings of the
Bible are as fresh as the news of the day. The Most Chroniclers— The Bible has over 40 chroniclers,
ranging from a king and prime minister to captives and prisoners; from
professionals like doctors, lawyers, poets, scholars, officials to ordinary
people like tax collectors, fishermen, farmers, shepherds and workers. These
chroniclers varied in status and situations and their works were completed in
palaces, prisons, deserted islands, wilderness and homes respectively. The Longest Record— The Bible has 66 books altogether
from Genesis to the Revelation. The recording took more than 1,600 years to
complete. The Most Translations— The Bible was originally written
in Hebrew and Greek. Statistics of 1984 showed that the Bible was translated
into 1,634 languages including whole and partially translated versions while
more than 1,200 languages were in translation process. There are a few Bible
translation organizations in the world. The statistics of Wycliffe Bible
Society several years ago, showed that 2,057 people coming from 34 countries
were working for the society in 46 countries. It takes 15 years to translate
a New Testament Bible. However, with the advanced computer technology today,
it is much more convenient. Translators are required to live in areas where
there is no written language. The process would involve learning the oral
language followed by developing the written language, prior to the
translation work. The
Most Exact Prophecy— One-third of the Bible has to do
with prophecy. Most of the prophecies were fulfilled literally and only a few
are waiting to be realized. E.g. The transformation of the lowly body of
believers into a glorious body at the Lord’s coming and prophecies of the
like. Prophets of different ages (B.C.) had prophesied about the Lord Jesus,
His birth and life on earth, His suffering and death for sin of mankind, His
burial, resurrection and ascension. These prophecies were all fulfilled. 1. Prophecy on a.Be scattered among the nations.
(Lev. 26:33; Deut 28:64) b.Be persecuted among all
nations.(Deut, 28:63-67) c. The d. Israelites as a people were
preserved and not be assimilated.(Lev. 26:44-45; Num 23:9) e. The nation would be restored
because of God’s regard for them.(Jer.32:37; Deut. 30:3; Ezek 11:17, Ezek
20:34, 36:24. 37:21) 2. Since 200 B.C., the Jews were
exiled to The faithful God has regard for
His chosen people according to His prophecy. Israel was destroyed as a nation
for over 2,500 years, in the promise of God’s prophecy, was restored as a
nation on May 14th, 1948 at The Most Far-reaching Influence— The Bible has great bearings on the
world in various aspects. Some examples are listed below: 1.
Music: Much of the inspired and grand compositions,
like the symphony composed by Bach and Hayden and the solemn and sacred
“Messiah” composed by Handal, as well as the hymns
sung at churches, had themes and topics taken from the Bible.(Note
1) 2. Art: The Bible provided inspiration to
many artists in completing their masterpieces, among them, “Colossal Moses”
by Michelangelo and his painting, “Holy Family” and da
Vinci’s “The Last Supper.” 3. Literature: Famous world writers like Tolstoy
and Shakespeare wrote their great works under the inspiration of the Bible. 4. Daily Living: The start of the world calendar
and the institution of many public holidays were based on the character of
the Bible-Jesus Christ as the focus. The beginning of A.D, originated from
the date of Jesus’ birth. “Christmas” started as the date to commemorate His
birth and many people exchange gifts and cards on this day. The first day of
the week “Sunday” is a day to remember His resurrection from the dead and is
a day of rest for many vocations in many countries. Yet, many people fail to
realize that they are actually living under the influence of the Bible. 5. Academic: The phrase in the Bible, “after
their kind” repudiates 6.
Politics: Many western countries founded
their nations on democracy, freedom and human rights based on the teachings
of the Bible. 7. Education: In some barbaric indigenous
tribes, they have the spoken language and not the written word. Missionaries
need to translate the Bible and so formed writings for them. With the
Biblical education, these tribes became developed and lived in a civilized
manner. Although 8. Society: In The Most Convicting— Many people after listening to the
Biblical teachings against sin, feel sorry and convicted. Some would try to oppose
and attack. Some after finding out the way to be save from sin, believed in
the Lord Jesus, repented and abandoned sin. They accepted the Lord Jesus as
their saviour and Lord of life. People unrepentant
of sin would only “acknowledge” or “know” the words of the Bible; they are
just churchgoers of Christians in name. A real Christian is one who obeys the
Bible and therefore afraid of sinning. The Most Powerful— The words in the Bible has power
to change people whether they are the barbaric indigenous people or the drug
lords in the civilized society. In The Most Comforting— For most people, life is more
about sufferings and difficulties than peace and joy. The pain of separation
from loved ones, the various frustrations and painful experiences often make one
feel disheartened and hopeless. But after hearing the words of the Bible, one
can be greatly comforted and be restored to a life of joy and peace because
he now knows he has a glorious hope ahead. The Richest Content— The Bible has 66 books with 1,189
chapters, over 30,000 verses and approximately 935,000 words. Its contents
includes all aspects: history, poetry, stories, prophecies, proverbs,
biographies, epistles, fables, parables, debates, travelogues, laws, rituals,
dramas, philosophy, geology, theology, literature, medical knowledge,
science, business, astrology, geography, military, physiology, mathematics,
physics, human rights, environmental studies, moral laws, eugenics,
psychology, archaeology, employee rights, information technology, puzzles etc. Such a variety of content. The Most Precious— In 1,450, J. Gutenberg of The Most Affordable— Compared to books of the same
volume, the Bible is the most inexpensive. There are organizations that give
away Bibles to people who cannot afford them. In the hotels of the The Most Divine— In some of the European countries,
Emperors or Prime Ministers put their hands on the Bible when they take an
oath for service, as do witnesses during court proceedings. The Bible is also
important during outer space exploration as astronauts brought the Bible with
them. When the foundation stone of the The Most Profound— Hebrew and Greek are the only two
languages that have each alphabet corresponding to a numerical figure. Seven
is seen as a divine number in the Bible. In the original language of the Old
and New Testament, every word and phrase is composed under the design of
mathematical logic. The whole Bible contains billions of mathematical modes, which are all divisible by seven. Even the most
advanced computer cannot make such a design. The main focus of study in
theological seminaries is the Bible. In order to begin studying in the
Seminary, people usually need to hold a degree. There are people who devote
their whole research to the Bible. In many libraries of the world, there are
innumerable books on expounding the Bible. Yet, its profoundness still cannot
be fathomed. The Most Easily Understood— Illiterate people from villages or
the uncivilized world, infants or young children, could also understand the
true message of the Bible. The amazing Bible-the educated would not find its
record superficial and the uneducated would not find its content profound.
Its content fits people of different ages. The Bible is an amazing book that
transcends time, space and age. The Simplest Theme— The Bible has only one central
theme: to proclaim to men the great love of the true God, Lord of the
universe. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to
them, that whoever believes should not perish but have everlasting
life.”(John 3:16) The Most Blessed Message— The Bible proclaims to men the simplest,
easiest to understand, believe and accepted Gospel message: “lf you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe
in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” The Most Serious Warning— The Bible warns mankind that: “The
wages of sin is death. ” lf a sinner does not repent and turn to the living
God, he would be thrown into the lake of fire, together with Satan to suffer
day and night unto eternity. Through the Bible, the Lord of the universe
proclaims the prospects of life and death; bless and curse before men and let
them make a free choice. The Most Opposition— The Lord of the universe (whom
believers of the Bible called the Heavenly Father) exposed unhesitatingly
men’s nature and sins, through the Bible. Therefore, the obstinate sinners
would hate the Bible and attack it; just like the law-breakers would hate the
law, police and prison. Those who are reading the article may perhaps also
feel repulsive about the Bible. As the Bible records: “They hated me without a
cause.” (John 15:25) and “But these, like natural brute beasts made to be
caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and
will utterly perish in their own corruption. ”(2 Peter The Most Misinterpreted— The Bible has prophecies that:
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but
according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their
ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”(2 Timothy 4:3-4)
After men followed Satan to sin, they begot its character of disobedience to
God. All people in the world except those who repented and believed in the
Lord Jesus, would follow Satan in one way or another to oppose God and His
truth-the Bible. Even in the Christian circle, there are many cults who are
actually messengers of Satan. They spread the teachings of Satan in the name
of Christianity and poison many souls. These people explain the Bible out of
context and interpret the Bible according to their own selfish desires. The
known cults that spread the poisonous teaching to kill souls include: The
Roman Catholic Church, The Watch Tower, Mormonism, The Seven Day Adventist,
Christian Science, Rev. Moon And His Unification Church, The
Fake Charismatics, Neo Theology, etc. There are
also many cults that are popular in The Most Persecuted— For thousands of years, the Bible
has undergone numerous persecutions and was listed as the forbidden book.
Those who translated the Bible and obeyed the Bible were persecuted in various
ways: burnt to death, torn by wild animals at the Coliseums, stoned, slain
with a sword, suffered scorn and whippings and various types of torture.
Today in some countries, the government forbids the import of Bibles and the
citizens to proclaim openly the truth of the Bible. Youth under 18 were not
allowed to go to church to learn the Bible. In the Chinese Cultural
Revolution, the Red Army checked homes of Christians and destroyed all
Bibles, Christian literatures and the church meeting places. There are still
many people suffering because of the Bible. However, today, the amazing Bible is still: The Most Loved— People may read a good book two or
three times, however, a genuine Christian would read the Bible daily all
their life. Some can even recite all the 228,000 words of the New Testament. The Best Seller— The Bible was sold in billions
whether in whole or as individual books. The Most Proclaimed— No matter where, be it the wild forest,
deserted islands or civilized cities, democratic or authoritarian government,
there are countless missionaries and Christians proclaiming Jesus
Christ-protagonist of the Bible. The Most Witnesses— From ancient times until now,
countless people had sacrificed their lives or suffered torture for
witnessing the truth of the Bible. Many people became martyred for holding to
the truth of the Bible. In the news nowadays, occasionally we hear about
people being tortured or imprisoned for the truth of the Bible. The Most Read— Countless Christians in the world
read the Bible daily. Some schools list the Bible as a major subject to be

天下第一奇书-圣经 「你们查考圣经（或作：应当查考圣经），因你们以为内中有永生；给我作见证的就是这经。圣经都是神所默示的（或作：凡神所默示的圣经），于教训、督责、使人归正、教导人学义都是有益的，叫属神的人得以完全，预备行各样的善事。」—圣经 圣经是一本最伟大的著作，是创造宇宙万有的主宰给人类的一封信，内容是表明祂自己和人类的关系，说出祂对人类的慈爱和拯救，使世界上每一个人都与祂和好，脱离罪恶和魔鬼的关系，恢复人类因犯罪而失去天上荣耀尊贵的福份，成为祂的儿女，避免了将来永远死亡的刑罚。 圣经又是宇宙的主宰自己向人类的启示。祂特别拣选了四十多人，给他们经历了一千多年才记录完成。它影响了每个世代的人，圣经真是‘世界之最’的一本天下奇书，请参考下面的资料，就是一个明证： 最古的记录— 圣经首五卷书完成于三千六百多年前，末一卷启示录则完成于一千九百多年前，距今时日最古远。 最适合时代— 圣经虽完成于古代，但内容适合每个时代并每个人的需要；虽古老却永久常新；年日虽久远，但老少适宜。今日虽是科学猛进信息发达的时代，但在电脑网络中，随便可以找到无数论到圣经的文章，和很多各国圣经的译本。圣经中有些话，看来像当天的新闻那样新鲜。 最多人记录— 圣经有四十多位记录者，其中有上至尊贵的君王和首相，下至亡国的俘虏和监狱中被囚的人，又有专业者如医生、律师、诗人、学者、士官、以及普通平民百姓如税吏、渔夫、农人、牧人、工人等，这些人地位不同，环境也各异，其中分别完成于皇宫、监狱、荒岛、旷野及普通民居。 最长久记录— 圣经是从头一卷创世记至最后一卷的启示录，合共六十六卷而成的文库，经一千六百多年的长时间才完成记录。 最多的译本— 圣经原文以希伯来文和希腊文写成，据统计全部或部分译本的圣经，1984年共有1634种语言的译本已经完成，另有一千二百多种语言在繙译中。世界有好几个繙译圣经的机构，十年前统计，单是‘威克厘夫圣经繙译会’的工作人员，来自三十四个国家，共有二千零五十七人，工作分布于四十六个国家中进行着。繙译一种言语的新约圣经约需时十五年。现今电脑科技发达，比从前方便多了，但译经的人，仍需住在没有文字的土人部落中，先学会说话，然后造了文字，才繙译圣经。 最準的预言— 圣经中有三分一是预言。其中大多数按字面应验了，只有少数的尚待应验。（如主再来时将信徒卑贱的身体改变形状，与基督荣耀的身体相似等预言尚未应验。）主前（B.C.）有不同时代的先知预言主基督的身份，如降生在世生活，为世人的罪受苦受死、埋葬、复活、升天等预言，全部都应验了。 1.关于以色列国的预言，因他们是神特别拣选的民族，目的是使世人因他们而蒙福，可是他们对神顽梗悖逆。所以神预言他们： A.被分散在世界列邦中。（利26：33；申28：64） B.在万国中受大逼迫。（申28：63/67） C.以色列国土荒凉。（耶25：11） D.以色列民被保存不被同化。（利26：44/45；民23：9） E.神眷顾他们，使他们复国。（耶32：37；申30：3；结11：17；结20：34；36：24；37：21） 2.自从主前（B.C.）五百年前，犹太人被掳至巴比伦，七十年后，一部份人回国，但在主后七十年被罗马人攻陷耶路撒冷，杀死二百万人，其余的人，饿死或被卖为奴，或被逐离国境，在天下万国抛来抛去，在各国中受尽苦害，单是第二次世界大战时，死在德国希特勒手下的人就有六百万。 信实的神照祂的预言眷顾祂的选民。以色列国亡了二千五百多年，照预言的应许，使他们在一九四八年五月十四日下午零一分复国了。当时，立刻遭周围的各国攻击，多年来虽经多次战争，但每次战争以色列国都大获全胜。今日成为中东强国。可是，因他们尚未真心归向眷顾他们的神，所以直到如今他们仍在战争的状态下过活。 最深远的影响— 圣经对世界各方面都有很大的影响，现略述一、二： 1.对音乐方面: 许多有灵感而庄严伟大的乐章，如巴哈和海登的交响乐，韩德尔庄严神圣的‘弥赛亚’神曲，和每间礼拜堂所唱的圣诗，都是取材于圣经的思想和题材而写成的。（注一） 2.对艺术方面: 如米开兰奇罗的‘摩西雕刻像’和其绘的‘圣洁家庭’，达文西的‘最后晚餐’，还有无数的艺术家，都是靠圣经提供，给以他们灵感，完成无价珍贵的作品。 3.对文学方面: 世界文坛中很多著名的文豪，如托尔斯泰、莎士比亚、歌德和雨果等，都是受圣经影响，而写成伟大的著作。德国因圣经而统一了全国不同的方言；我国也因官话圣经的帮助，而推广了今日我们所用的白话文。 4.对生活作息方面: 世界的公历纪元，和每年的许多假期，都是以圣经中所载的主角—耶稣基督为中心，以祂的降世那一年，被世界万国公认为纪元；因记念祂降生的日子，称为‘圣诞节’，许多人向亲友互赠贺卡和互送礼物；每星期七日的第一日，是记念祂受死而复活的日子，被称为‘礼拜日’，世界许多国家的各行各业都放假休息。可惜，许多人在圣经影响下生活作息而慒然不知！ 5.对学术方面: 圣经中‘各从其类’四个字便推翻了达尔文的‘进化论’学说。笔者一位好朋友裴君，他是一位中国留学生，在加拿大U.B.C.研究‘进化论’的博士生，就因圣经而成为基督徒后放弃了学业。笔者曾劝他继续研究下去，将来可以帮助其它受‘进化论’迷惑的人，他说：‘虚假的东西怎能研究得下去呢？’故改研究其它学科。 6.对政治方面: 很多西方国家，以推行自由、民主、人权为立国的根基，所以有林肯解放黑奴的壮举。这都是因圣经的启示而影响所致。因圣经启示，人类是创造宇宙的主宰所创造的，在祂面前人人平等，谁都有至高者所赋予的权利和尊严。试看那些抵挡圣经的国家民族，他们的人民都在集权、穷困、迷信、落后和无秩序，并道德低落的社会环境中生活，这是铁一般摆在人人面前的事实。过去入籍成为加拿大公民时，都蒙法庭送一本新约圣经。我们想想看，为何不送一本加国宪法呢？大概是公民遵守圣经比宪法更重要罢!(注二)很多国家的国旗和国徽上，或明或暗绘有‘十’字的标志，因‘十’字在圣经中有极大的意义。 7.对教育方面: 在蛮荒部落的土著，很多有言语而无文字，都是宣教士因繙译圣经而为他们造字，有了圣经的教育，才渐渐开化，得以过着文明的生活；我国虽是有辉煌文化的古国，可惜教育并不普及，只有那些有权势的富贵人家的子弟，才有读私塾的机会，直至一八零七年开始，外国的传道人把圣经译成中文，为了传扬圣经的真道，他们兴办教会学校使平民普遍受教育，以后逐渐扩展，才有大、中、小学等编制学校，教会学校是我国新学制的先锋。 8.对社会方面: 单说我们的祖国，因圣经的传到，社会才有大大的改良，如兴办慈善事业，改良各种民间蓄婢、缠足、纳妾、早婚、留辫、迷信、流长指甲、杀女婴等恶习；又开设医院、养老院、孤儿院、济良所（收容妓女、弃妇等）、盲哑学校、难民收容所、戒毒所、痲疯病院、红十字会等慈善机构。这都是我国近百多年来，因圣经影响而兴起的社会慈善事业，现在我们的国家已迈向开明、进步、富庶了。圣经对过去扫除了那些败坏的恶习，是有很大帮助的。 最容易明白— 不论未受教育的文盲村妇和荒山土人，或孩童稚子，都能明白圣经的真意。奇妙的圣经，有学问的人阅读，不觉得它的记载显浅，没有学问的人阅读，亦不觉得它的内容深奥，真是老少合宜，人人适用，圣经真是一本‘时不分古今，地不分南北，放之四海而皆準。’的奇妙天书。 最简单主题— 圣经中只有一个中心的主题，就是宣告创造宇宙万有的主宰-真神，对全世界的人的大爱，‘神爱世人，甚至将祂的独生子（耶稣基督）赐给他们，叫一切信祂的，不至灭亡，反得永生。’ 最蒙福信息— 圣经向人类的宣告，是最简单易明、易接受、易相信的福音信息：‘你若口里认耶稣为主，心里信神叫祂从死里复活，就必得救。’ 最严重警告— 圣经警告人类：‘罪的工价乃是死。’罪人若不悔改归向真神，将来和魔鬼一同被扔在硫磺的火湖里，昼夜受痛苦，直到永永远远！宇宙的主宰藉圣经将人类前途的生、死、祸、福宣告出来，让人取舍、并不勉强。 最多人攻击— 宇宙的主宰（相信圣经的人称为天父），祂藉圣经，将人的本性和罪恶暴露无遗，故犯罪悖逆的人憎恶圣经，攻击圣经，正如违法的人憎恶律法、警察和监狱一样，甚至现在看这篇文字的人，或者也有很多人对圣经反感呢？圣经的启示说：‘他们无故的恨我’，又说：‘但这些人好像没有灵性，生来就是畜类，以备捉拿宰杀的。他们毁谤所不晓得的事，正在败坏人的时候，自己必遭败坏。’（约15：25；彼后2：12）反对圣经的人，并没有详细研究过圣经便盲目反对。 最多人谬解— 圣经也预言说：‘因为时候要到，人必厌烦纯正的道理，耳朵发痒，就随从自己的情欲，增添好些师傅。并且掩耳不听真道，偏向荒渺的言语。’（提后4：3-4）自从人跟随魔鬼犯罪之后，便有了牠悖逆真神的性格，除了那些真正信靠顺服主耶稣基督，悔改重生得救，脱离魔鬼网罗的真正基督徒外，所有世界上的人，或明或暗，都是跟随魔鬼去抵挡神和祂的真道-圣经。所以，在基督真道的范围内，也有许多异端邪教出现，他们是撒但的差役，散布魔鬼的邪道，打起基督教的招牌而贩卖毒害人灵魂的毒药。这些人在圣经中断章取义，凭私意谬解真理的圣经。 在世界上明目张胆散布属灵的毒素，谋杀人宝贵灵魂的异端邪道有:罗马天主教﹑守望台﹑摩门教﹑安息日会﹑基督教科学会﹑文鲜明的统一教﹑假灵恩方言派﹑新神学派等;在中国大陆流行的有:东方闪电﹑常受主的呼喊派﹑被立王(主教派)﹑灵灵教﹑三班仆人﹑新约使徒教会﹑门徒会﹑重生派(包括:哭重生﹑生命会﹑真理会﹑全范围教会)﹑击鼓跳舞派等。可怜这些落在魔鬼的蒙骗和辖制里的人，都是他们没有按正意分解真理的道之过。凡追求信主的人都要提防这些异端为要，而我们真正属主基督的圣徒都要和他们分别，在真道上站立得稳，以生命去见证主基督的真道，也为这些陷入魔鬼迷惑的人祷告，求主救他们脱离牠的网罗。 最多的毁坏— 历数千年来，圣经经过无数次的毁坏和列为禁书，繙译圣经的人和遵行圣经者，有些受严刑，被火烧死，在斗兽场中，被野兽撕食，忍受戏弄、鞭打、捆锁、监禁、被石头打死、被锯锯死、被刀杀死、受尽各种严刑。甚至现今有些国家的政权，明文不准圣经进口，不准人民公开宣传圣经所记的真道，不准十八岁以下的青少年人，到礼拜堂去听道和学习圣经；单是在十年的文革中，红卫兵查禁和毁坏基督徒所有的圣经，和讲论圣经的书报文字，并宣讲圣经的礼拜堂。直到如今，仍有许多人因圣经而受逼害！ 但奇妙的圣经，今日仍然是： 最多人喜爱— 一本最好的书，普通人读两三次便无意再读，但真正的基督徒，一生天天诵读圣经，终老不相离，甚至有人将整本新约圣经二十二万八千多字，全部能背诵出来。 最多人购买— 圣经整本或单行本，全世界每年销售上亿本。 最多人传扬— 不论山林、海岛、蛮荒野岭或文明都市，自由或极权的国家中，都有数不尽的传道人或基督徒，在世界各处宣扬这本圣经中所记载的主人翁-耶稣基督。 最多人见证— 古今中外有无数的人，为了见证圣经中的真道，不惜流自己的鲜血，牺牲自己的生命，或受极其残酷的苦刑，古时相信遵守圣经的人有很多人殉道；如果打开今日的报章，有时也会看见有人因此而受苦和监禁的新闻。 最多人阅读— 全世界有数不清的基督徒，每日早晚读圣经，有的学校把圣经列为必修的科目。 最多人讲论— 全世界每一间礼拜堂，每礼拜日都以圣经为指标，向人宣讲真道；每个真正的基督徒在平日的生活中，也常找机会向人谈论圣经，想很多读者中，也有此经历罢！ 最多人研究— 除了在礼拜堂中讲论，在神学院研究外，单是北美很多大学和中学，都有查经班或基督徒团契，他们每礼拜中有一次聚会，彼此研究和讨论圣经。 啊！一本这么奇妙的圣经，它和我们有甚么关系呢？答案，圣经是我们每个人的‘人生南针’。我们岂可轻易忽略它呢？有一句世界名言说：‘圣经使人离开罪恶，罪恶使人离开圣经。’ （注一）: ‘弥赛亚’神曲，全部曲词是以圣经的话串写而成的伟大圣乐，若在音乐会演唱，唱到‘哈利路亚’大合唱时，听众要全体肃立，直至完场。 （注二）: 美加两国政府，通过违背圣经的律法，所以道德低落，国运渐渐走下坡，这是人人眼见的事实。 F你若想更多知道上帝的救恩，诚邀你点击我们的网址:福音文摘 |
